What We Will Do for You: 

  • Treat you with courtesy, dignity, and respect always
  • Treat you as a partner and discuss with you the care and treatment we can provide.
  • Provide an appropriate chaperone if required or requested.
  • Give you full information on the services we offer.
  • Give you the most appropriate care by suitably qualified staff.
  • Provide you with emergency care when you need it.
  • Refer you to a consultant acceptable to you when your doctor thinks it is necessary or refer you for a second opinion when you and your doctor agree it is needed.
  • Keep the contents of your health records confidential.  All patients, regardless of age, have the right to confidentiality.
  • Deal with complaints promptly and objectively.  Our aim would be to produce a positive outcome for all concerned. 

What You Can Do for The Practice:

  • Please be courteous and polite when dealing with members ofn the practice team.
  • Allow time for Clinical and Administration staff to deal with enquiries.
  • Keep your appointments and be prompt for your appointment.
  • Let us know as early as possible if you cannot come for your appointment.
  • Ask if you are unsure about the treatment, we are offering you.
  • Use the emergency service only in a genuine emergency.
  • Do not request an emergency appointment for a matter that is known not to be urgent.
  • Home Visits are for patients who are housebound or unable to attend the Surgery through acute illness that confines them to bed.
  • Inform the Practice of changes to your personal details e.g. change of address, name or telephone numbers.
  • Request out of hours visits only if or when appropriate and necessary.
