If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them - Please allow 5 working days:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your online account (contact the surgery for more information)
- phone us after 11am and we will tell you what the results are (kindly do not call to get the results if the request for the investigation was not from this Practice).
Questions about your results
If you want to talk to someone about your results please contact the surgery reception team.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
Specimens
Any specimens to be tested by the hospital must be brought to the surgery before 12 mid-day to ensure that they are in time for hospital collection.
